Cancer Fighters, Łatwogang and Bedoes – when the internet does something truly good

There are moments on the internet that remind me why I like being here so much. Not for drama, not for numbers, but for those rare times when thousands of people come together for one purpose and actually make a difference. The Łatwogang and Bedoes charity event is exactly that kind of moment.

It all started with the song “Ciągle tutaj jestem (diss na raka)”, recorded by Bedoes together with 11-year-old Maja, a beneficiary of the Cancer Fighters Foundation. This is not just a song. It is emotion. It is a story. It is something that stays with you long after you stop listening.

Łatwogang set himself an extreme challenge: to listen to the song on loop for 9 days straight during a live stream. Over 216 hours. Sounds unreal? And yet, he did it, turning his room into the center of one of the biggest charity events in Polish internet history.

The result? As for when im writing this article, over 19 million PLN raised for the Cancer Fighters Foundation. The biggest charity stream in Poland. And behind that number are real stories, real children, and real help.

Bedoes also made a huge personal contribution, donating a total of 720,000 PLN in multiple transfers during the stream. It showed that this was not just for show. It was something that truly mattered to him.

There were also unforgettable moments. Shaving heads live as a symbol of solidarity with children undergoing chemotherapy. Getting a tattoo on stream. Late-night visits from other creators boosting the donation counter. And the visible exhaustion of Łatwogang, who kept going despite everything.

Many creators joined the cause, including Bambi, Young Leosia, Roxie Węgiel, Boxdel, and many others (Mostly Polish infuencers). And suddenly, the internet, often seen as chaotic, started to feel like one united team.

Most importantly, the money raised is not abstract. The Cancer Fighters Foundation will use it for very real purposes:

  • purchasing modern medical equipment for pediatric oncology departments
  • funding non-reimbursed treatments and medications
  • providing rehabilitation and psychological support for children and their families
  • supporting prevention programs and early diagnostic initiatives

    • And that is exactly why this matters so much to me.
